News & Announcements

We are writing SMART Goals for each of our fitness tests to be achieved by the end of the semester.

We are calculating our 1RM (One Rep Max) in the following:

Squat

Bench Press

Deadlift

We will determine the amount of weight we should start lifting (75% of 1RM)

We will discuss Maximum Heart Rate (MHR) and Target Heart Rate (THR) and how to use these to increase fitness levels

We will participate in games and activities that incorporate different fitness components as well as teamwork

We completed 5 fitness tests:

Sit and Reach

Sit-ups

Push-ups

PACER

Mile Run

As well as some get-to-know-you activities and an introduction to safety and proper form in the weight room.
