We are all excited to start FY 21-22 school year. Our teachers, staff, and administration are attending

professional development and planning meetings to be ready and welcome all students on Monday,
August 30th at 7:30 am. We are so excited to launch our new courses and pathways in which all students
have an opportunity to obtain college credit courses.
All our students will return to school in person; therefore, we will follow the protocols that CPS has in place
to ensure that our students have a safe and healthy learning environment.

● Mask protocols: All students and staff will be masked at all times, regardless of vaccination
status. Based on current research, CDC guidance is that returning to school is safe when
everyone masks and avoids extended close contact.
● Health protocols: Students should complete the screener before coming to school and stay home
if sick. If a student gets sick during the school day with COVID-like symptoms, they will be taken
to the care room and must be picked up by an adult.
● Air purifiers in every classroom.
● Students will be socially distant in the cafeteria area where masks are removed for eating.
● The cleaning team is disinfecting the classrooms every day
● Touchless Hand sanitizing stations have been installed in every school and throughout the
building.
● We have a designated care room in case a student or adult presents any symptoms.
● CPS has a procedure in case that we have a positive COVID case. A full investigation is taking
place to identify possible close contacts and follow up with each person individually.
